Pair charged after £800k worth of cannabis found in former Wilko

Two men have been charged after thousands of cannabis plants were found at a vacant shop in Grimsby.
Officers were called to reports of a suspected cannabis grow at the former Wilko store on Bull Ring Lane in Grimsby on Tuesday 14 January. Upon searching the property, police uncovered around 2000 plants with an estimated value of £800,000. Around £100,000 worth of equipment was also found.
Humberside Police have now confirmed that two men have been charged, and have released an image showing the large cannabis grow.
Besjan Limani, 33-years-old, of no fixed abode, has been charged with production of a class B drug and abstracting electricity without authority.
Spiro Visha, 48-years-old, of no fixed abode, has also been charged with production of a class B drug and abstracting electricity without authority.
Both men were remanded into custody to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court today, Thursday 16 January.
